The Spider-Man Viral Marketing is Starting So Early

spider_man_viral_youtube_225.jpgA day after Batman 3 and Salt received their own real-life viral-marketing boosts, have a look at this 13-year-old in England trying to pass himself off as anything but some wall-climbing, vacuum-pad-rocking allusion to Sony's forthcoming Spider-Man reboot. Don't confuse this with James Franco's own viral adventures, which have nothing on this clip that races from WTF to hilarious back to WTF in 60 seconds flat. This kid is walking on a wall, people. Marc Webb, we have found your leading man.

His name would be Hibiki Kono, a heretofore unknown London youngster who retrofitted what appears to be a ShopVac with some shoulder straps, sleeves and huge pads for maximum wall grab. He clearly won't get very far plugged into the wall like this, but hey. Prototypes etc. Anyway, that cord should probably have been removed in post.
