Sandra Bullock Makes First Public Appearance

Bad news, producers of tonight's MTV Movie Awards: That exclusive "first formal public appearance" of Sandra Bullock that you've been touting isn't so exclusive any longer. Bullock was a surprise guest at the Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards last night -- where she accepted her trophy for Troops Choice Entertainer of the Year -- meaning when she accepts the MTV Generation Award tonight, it will actually be her second public appearance and not her first. Though since the MTV Movie Awards air live and the Guy's Choice Awards don't air until June 20th, the music network still has the upper hand. The moral of the story? If you want a celebrity to break a prolonged silence, offer them a fake award. [TMZ]
