Jay Leno Suggests Times Square Bomber was a Conan Fan
According to Jay Leno, the accused (and failed) Times Square car bomber, Faisal Shahza, is a card-carrying member of the terrorist organization known as... Team Coco. Wait, what?
You didn't see it on The Tonight Show last night (because, duh), but while doing a bit that showed Shahza's Facebook page -- he's friends with Danny Bonaduce, LOLZ -- eagle-eyed members of Team Coco spotted that they were listed as one of the groups Shahza affiliates himself with, right alongside Al-Qaeda. Needless to say, Coco fans are outraged. But was it a low blow or the funniest joke Leno has made at the expense of Conan since this entire late night war started? Probably the former, but good job for trying Jay. Check the video and decide for yourself.

Well, the suspect is under 65 years old, so he definitely does not fit in the Leno demographic.

Jay Leno was alright with me...until he disrespected Conan like that. To be honest, the ONLY funny thing about the Leno show is that thing where they look at newspaper cut outs. THATS IT. Leno is NOBODY compared to the great Conan. Him and that ball headed black guy that sits in the corner and laughs at everything that Leno says both suck! Don't worry Conan, Leno is over the hill, across the valley, up the river,down the waterfall,and on the mountain side so you'll get your spot back soon enough!

Basically im so sick of conan bashers , the bottom line is nbc set up conans tonight show to fail putting leno at 10 period ! so for the ppl who enjoyed conans show will be back in nov and for the bashers keep watching that old hack leno ! and laughing at lame jokes comparing terroist to team coco what a joke!
I think that Leno was just stating the facts/truth about what was on the terrorist's facebook. It ended up being funny but not sure if that was the purpose. Maybe Leno was pulling Conan's chain but his fans need to not take things so serious and let small things like this get to them.

I guess people only get angry when liberals get unfairly attacked. Unfairly attack a conservative or a group that is considered by the left to be conservative and it's suddenly OK or Funny !
The so-called COCO fans need to get a grip. Everyone is coming down on Jay Leno about taking back the Tonight Show, but not looking at this logically. Since Jay Leno has been back on the Tonight Show ratings shot up and steadily beating David Letterman in the ratings which is something Conan O'Brien did not do. I know people say that NBC should have given Conan more time, but you have to remember it is not called “SHOW BUSINESS” and I stress the “BUSINESS” part. NBC was pressured by affiliates and advertisers to do something about the ratings during Conan’s short time on the Tonight Show. The affiliates and advertisers are the bread and butter for the Tonight Show and NBC. NBC could not let Jay Leno go because they would have to pay him $185 million dollars (plus millions mores for contractual deals in Jay’s contract) to release him from his contract versus paying $32 million dollars to release Conan from his contract. I hope that some of you so-called COCO fans will use some common sense and see letting Conan go was the best "BUSINESS" decision. Yes Jeff Zucker (President of NBC Universal) was a former college class mate and friend of Conan, but it comes to the bottom line of dollar signs. I really do wish Conan all the success on TBS and he just might thrive on cable. This was actually a good thing for Conan because he can now start from the ground up and create a legacy for himself instead of standing in shadow of Johnny Carson.
Oh I agree, what an ass to make that comment about the bomber. The Mayor and all should publicly apologize for such a stupid and ridiculous comment. More people should be outraged.
