Which Deserves a Feature Adaptation More: Pixels or The Gift?

We've enclosed both shorts and now we put it to you, the Movieline reader. Which would you rather see a feature film adaptation of: a charming, 8-bit invasion story with imagination and a sense of humor, or a megabudget short film about sexy Svedka robots and obtuse Macguffins, directed by Ridley Scott's son-in-law? Pixels. I didn't even watch the Svedka one. Those robots scare me.

So this is the guy they want to do the Alien prequel? Both are way cool, but my heart yearns for the days of 8 bit amazement.

Well, I first thought that robot piece was a "wicked-pissah", but then I read your assessment so to be hip I vote "Pixels".
