If some kind of fatal illness befalls one of NBC's late-night figures, I'd like to throw Brian Williams' name in the ring as a replacement. The news anchor appeared on Late Night to jazz up an otherwise mediocre episode and has proved time and time again that he can take Jon Stewart punchline for punchline.
