Comedians Respond to the Jay Leno/Conan O'Brien Shakeup

Oswalt seized the opportunity on radio to voice his Jay Leno disapproval and compare him to -- you guessed it -- Richard Nixon.

Seinfeld took time out from pimping his new series The Marriage Ref to suggest that NBC, despite the furor and speculation, is doing the right thing.

"I also think [The Jay Leno Show] was the right idea at the wrong time." Seinfeld said. "What did the network do to [Conan]? I don't think anyone's preventing people from watching Conan. Once they give you the cameras, it's on you. I can't blame NBC for having to move things around. I hope Conan stays, I think he's terrific. But there's no rules in show business, there's no refs."

Jimmy Kimmel appreciates the controversy the same we do. It gives him something to think about while eating entire pies.

    I kind of wish NBC's website included the part where Conan talks about Leno parking in his spot in his '26 Deusenberg and Leno correcting him on the year of the car. That was pretty funny. His impression of Leno is spot on.
