TV Bites: Piper Perabo as Ms. Walker, Covert Ranger

· The now Monk-less USA Network has picked up a spy drama called Covert Affairs, starring your favorite Coyote Ugly, Piper Perabo. Deck the Halls writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord will co-executive produce the 11-episode season, which follows Annie Walker (Perabo), a "multilingual CIA trainee unexpectedly promoted to field operative while reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her agency bosses." God forbid there was not an ex-boyfriend to reel over! Christopher Gorham, Peter Gallagher, Kari Matchett and Anne Dudek will round out the cast. [THR]

David Hasselhoff knows when to quit a good thing, a Seinfeld alum takes on a weighty project, and more TV Bites after the jump.

· If there's anyone who knows how to leave while you're on top, it's probably not David Hasselhoff. The Baywatch icon is calling it quits on NBC's America's Got Talent after four glorious years to pursue his own television project "which will be announced very shortly." What a tease! [People]

· BBC talk show host Jonathan Ross has announced that he will not renegotiate his contract when it expires this summer. The decision comes after a scandal in which he and comedian Russell Brand prank-called Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs. You remember the call -- the one where Ross left voice messages for Sachs declaring that Brand had bedded his granddaughter. [AP]

· Does Jason Alexander's new gig as a spokesman for Weight Watchers mean that he has finally broken the Seinfeld curse? [USA Today]

· ABC has ordered two additional episodes of Cougar Town for the show's first season. [EW]

· CBS has announced its cast of good and bad guys for its upcoming 20th season of Survivor, this time themed Heroes vs. Villains. "Boston Rob", "Coach Wade" and Rupert Boneham the friendly giant will premiere their season on Thursday, February 11. [CBS]

I heard Piers Morgan used his influence with Simon Cowell, to force Hasselhoff off the show as David had a much larger penis than him, which he discovered at a rather hot and steamy Hollywood Party (essentially an orgy)
The Hoff had advertised a vacuum penis pump back in the 80's and is now packing a rather huge trouser snake.
You can see the advert for it (along with the Commercial Meatloaf made) as part of this short film I made:

    (it's a bit of fun)
best of luck Dave in your next venture!
