Ten Inadvisable Movie Performances From the Past Decade
4. Meg Ryan as Frannie in In the Cut (2003)
The '90s were Meg's. She managed to hold on until 2001, with the time-travel romcom Kate & Leopold, but by the time Jane Campion's ill-conceived psychoRuffalosexual thriller rolled around, things started to slide. (And I'm not just talking about her face.) (Though I'm partially talking about her face.)
3. Mike Meyers as Maurice / Guru Pitka / Young Pitka / Teenage Pitka / Himself in The Love Guru (2008)
Namasterrible.
2. Lindsay Lohan as Aubrey Fleming / Dakota Moss in I Know Who Killed Me (2007)
This could have also gone to Georgia Rule, but I Know Who Killed Me is still really the seminal moment when Lohan's career finally stopped resisting the magnetized stripper pole that had been pulling at her for years, sending the wayward shock-starlet hurtling through the air and into it with a loud, reverberative, "CLANGGGNNGNGNGNG..."
1. Eddie Murphy as Norbit / Rasputia / Mr. Wong in Norbit (2007)
It was to be his Moment™ -- the culmination of the unprecedented career of a comedy giant whose greatest performances were long behind him, but who still had one legendary role inside him just ready to explode from every pore. Then a 400-pound stereotype named Rasputia slowly lowered her ample girth over the statuette that was to be his, each golden centimenter slowly disappearing until, finally, its base vanished completely and forever. R.I.P. Eddie's Oscar.

I didn't know Lady Gaga did wardrobe on Dungeons & Dragons!
And Starring Madonna as Herself.
Namasterrible FTW!
C'mon, Second Hand Lions was a very good show. Instead of this list, it should be added to your 10 Movies that you missed in the last 10 years.
Woah woah woah woah woah.
Everyone that I know loved Second Hand Lions. And if no one saw it, then how did it affect Haley's career?
I don't know about you, but Linda Cardellini wasn't exactly a wash of an actress after Scooby Doo. She continued on ER until the show's end, was in Brokeback Mountain, and (my favorite) she was especially funny in Grandma's Boy. But I'll agree with everyone else from that movie...
Boat Trip may in fact have been a bad career move for Cuba Gooding, Jr as an AMERICAN actor. However, everything Boat Trip seemed director more toward a European Audience rather than toward American sensibilities. If Boat Trip had been done first by a French Company, most A-List American Male Actors would have been fighting to do the Americanized version. Cuba was very brave to do that role and his performance will eventually be appreciated by more people.
I saw secondhand lions in the theater. I got talked into it and actually ended up enjoying it. :3
Secondhand Lions was actually a very good film. I highly recommend it.
I didn't know Lady Gaga did wardrobe on Dungeons & Dragons!.
I also highly recommend Secondhand Lions. It's a wonderful, funny movie, and Hayley Joel Osment held his own with two very talented veteran actors. I don't know why Hayley's missing from the spotlight lately, but it can't be because of Secondhand Lions. Maybe he's too busy doing voicework for the next Kingdom Hearts game (he was the voice of Sora).
No Scooby snax for YOU!!
play misty for me ?
