The Golden Globes TV Frontrunners: A Movieline IM Chat

Julie: I feel like Julianna Margulies could take take Best Actress in a Drama. Glenn Close and Paquin have already won.

Louis: Margulies is handsome and leans in over the table. I like that in a Dramatic Actress.

Julie: Me too. Now, onto these "comedies": I hate that Courteney Cox and Edie Falco are nominated in the category.

Louis: I like Edie and Tina Fey's chances here. Oh, and Toni Collette. She won the Emmy. But is she multiple personalities of LOSER for the Golden Globes?

Julie: Lea Michele is also a no. I would like to hear her sing "Don't Rain on My Parade" at the ceremony.

Louis: Remember when Barbra Streisand sang that and it was cool?

Julie: We'll fight about this momentarily.

This has very little to do with the above conversation, but the crazy dad scientist from Fringe should at least get a supporting actor nomination somewhere along the line

    Agreed.

@STOLIDOG - Agreed! John Noble hits all the notes, from scary to tears, in a single monologue. He's like the male Sally Field -- but crazier. Love him.
As for this article, it is one of the worst I've read in Movieline.com ever -- even for an IM report -- so smarmy, cliquish, and immature, it represents everything that is wrong with internet publications. To quote Movieline "journalist" Julie, "Whatever".
