Adorable Yuletide Lab Pack to Bail Out Disney in Time For Christmas

Only the most eagle-eyed of drugstore-checkout-line dwellers and desperate of minivan-piloting soccer moms are even remotely aware that Disney has been quietly churning out a series of profitable direct-to-DVD sequels to seminal talking-pooch-turned-NBA-pro movie, Air Bud, since it was released in 1997.

Like little wet-nosed lifeboats rescuing the studio from the Ghost of Bloated Mo-Cap Holiday Movie Future, first came Air Buddies, then Snow Buddies, then Space Buddies (Buddies in space!). The long-awaited Santa Buddies: Legend of Santa Paws, touted by many to be the Precious of talking-dog Christmas movies, arrives in stores November 24, and rounds up* the entire Buddies crew -- B-Dawg, Budderball, Buddha, Mudbud, and Rosebud*. Woof, woof, woof! Arrrrfy Buddmas, everybody!
