Jeff Dunham's Ratings 'Whittled' By 55%
After garnering Comedy Central's biggest premiere ratings ever, the zany ventriloquism of The Jeff Dunham Show earned wooden numbers for its second episode. (His joke, not mine.) The show's low number (2.3 million viewers) on Thursday could owe itself to the World Series, but I'm prepared to make judgments based on the material alone. Where did Dunham's rib-tickling racism and rootin'-tootin' homophobia go wrong this week?
The problems began within the skit premises themselves. For instance, everyone knows that interacting with a Chinese doctor is not as hilarious as interacting with a Korean one. Where do these hacks get off? Plus, if you're going to use a scathingly dull French stereotype to sell a bunch of one-liners, you need to accompany them with mournful Parisian cafe music. Novices. This guy shows no promise of updating his act into the '09. And I do mean 1909. Guffaw!
Seriously, someone cancel this.

How the Universe will end>
On February 4th, 2010 Jeff Dunham will add a "Carrot Top" puppet to his act which will then cause every living creature (including plants) to die a slow, painful death at the molecular level. The only being left unharmed will be Gallagher who will then go on to recreate the new Universe in his own image.
There are some who say this has ALREADY HAPPENED.
Don't worry, ventriloquism fans... Dane Cook will incorporate these jokes into his stand-up routine before you can say "hand up my ass".
