DJ AM's Gone Too Far Intervention Series Trailer Sufficiently Ominous
Prior to the drug-related death of Adam Goldstein (DJ AM), the world-renowned spinner filmed a reality series designed to help young addicts reform. The trailer for the MTV series Gone Too Far, which will finally premiere Oct. 12, depicts Goldstein as he dispenses tough love to the kids.
Predictably, it's rough to watch as Goldstein counsels young sufferers on the brink of their own demises, but the series feels even more didactic and useful now. This ranks as MTV's most important programming all year, a welcome, if terrifying return to the network's Scared Straight days.
