Mischa Barton gets a another shot at pop culture relevance with tonight's The Beautiful Life pilot. The CW program attempts a meta-storyline, casting the monotone O.C. starlet as a has-been model, fighting capped tooth and manicured nail to stay at the top of her runway game. Reviews are forecasting a short and grisly run, but we hope that Mischa's fate is not as grim.

The Beautiful Life [9 PM, CW]

There is a New York Fashion Week model showdown in tonight's series premiere, when fresh-faced model Raina Marinelli (Sara Paxton) steals the spotlight from veteran model Sonja Stone (Mischa Barton), who like Gossip Girl's Serena Van Der Woodsen, has been "out of the country for unknown reasons." Meanwhile, small town Chris Andrews (Ben Hollingsworth) gets his first taste of NYC's fashion world.

Glee [9 PM, Fox]

When Will (Matthew Morrison) focuses on an all-male a cappella group, the glee club enlists a well-known choreographer (Paula Abdul?! Please?) to replace him. Meanwhile, Mercedes (Amber Riley) is bitten by the love bug and Josh Groban appears as himself. Visit us tomorrow to see if Glee can maintain its vaudevillian-loving audience two weeks in a row.

Charlie Rose [11:30 PM, PBS]

This summer's vibrating panties scene in The Ugly Truth was enough for the human species to give up on female industry integrity altogether. But you only need to look as far as Charlie Rose's in-depth roundtable with some of Hollywood's most gifted directors tonight, who both happen to have two X-chromosomes: Jane Campion (Bright Star) and Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker).

The Bodyguard [9 PM, VH1]

Celebrate Whitney Houston's comeback with her early career cinematic masterpiece. Even though her two-part Oprah confessional, and her chart-topping album I Look To You signal a comeback, Houston will always be remembered as her 1992 "I Will Always Love You"-belting self.
