It's official: William Morris Agency and Endeavor have agreed to their long-expected merger, combining their offices into a single nuclear superpower to be known as WME Entertainment. WMA boss Jim Wiatt will run the show as chairman, while Ari Emanuel, Patrick Whitesell and Dave Wirtschafter will handle the day-to-day agency operations.

The merger creates the deepest and most diverse competitor CAA has had in almost 30 years, rolling ahead with roughly $300 million in combined assets. All of Hollywood is looking forward to the skirmishes ahead, and while the relationship between an 111-year-old and 14-year-old isn't something any responsible society would endorse, you have to admit they really do make a darling couple. Send your best wishes in the guest book below, and look for more commentary here in the weeks, months and years ahead.
