Top Chef: All-Stars' Elia Aboumrad on Her 'Humiliating' Exit

On the Top Chef: All-Stars premiere last night, host Padma Lakshmi greeted Bravo's eighteen returning cheftestants with a particularly nasty challenge: Remake the dish that got them eliminated the last time they were on the series. For season 2's Elia Aboumrad, that meant trying the snapper steamed in ti leaves all over again. Once again, it didn't go very well.

Which Glee Cast Members Are in Danger of Being Replaced?

This week Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced that he will be kicking several of his New Directions stars to the curb in 2012 because "there is nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot." Well, except for a middle-aged white-rapping teacher who chooses to relive his glory days by dancing suggestively in front of a packed high school auditorium...but I digress. This is a serious threat for not only devoted Gleeks, but for the less talented, more aged actors posing as promgoers. (I'm talking to you, Monteith). Below, Movieline identifies which stars are highest on the endangered Glee-cies list.

Jethro Tull, New Vaudeville Band and Katy Perry: A Historical Tribute to the Worthlessness of the Grammys

On Wednesday night CBS aired the Grammy nominations in the form of a big concert, but the music died sometime in the first hour: Katy Perry earned an Album of the Year nomination, Glee garnered one for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals (come on), and typically tepid Grammy bait like Lady Antebellum picked up six noms. While the Grammys are supposed to represent music's biggest night on television, the ceremony remains what it has always been: a valentine to the recording industry, where popularity and obligation supersede quality. We've lined up our favorite reasons to loathe the Grammys (which is saying a lot coming from award-show junkies like us), and we hope you're dragging the needle onto your prized Jethro Tull LP as you read along.

Late Night Highlights: Joel McHale Attacks Innocent Conan Audience Member

Chaos broke out on the set of Conan last night when guest Joel McHale stopped ragging on Oprah and his Community co-star Chevy Chase to call out a young audience member's wardrobe choice. But fear not -- Conan, Andy Richter and second guest Tim Gunn heroically came to the audience member's defense. Meanwhile, Stephen Colbert introduced a new product called meat goggles, Regis Philbin did card tricks and Conan vlogged about Bristol Palin from his bedroom.

Isaac Mizrahi Recaps Fashion Show: 'There Was a Drama Over Who to Eliminate'

Isaac Mizrahi, who judges and mentors contestants on The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection, always has more to say about each week's results than what we see on TV. (Damn editors.) Since we didn't catch up with Mizrahi last week, we're reviewing two weeks of Fashion Show couture with him today -- including a dated red-leather tribute to Mary J. Blige, a baggy denim ode to grunge, and one of the weirdest necklines you've ever seen.

The Walking Dead: Will Writing Staffs Become Extinct if The Walking Dead Works?

That's one way to produce a television series. On Tuesday night, it was reported by Deadline that Walking Dead executive producer Frank Darabont had fired his writing staff ahead of the already-ordered season two, and was considering replacing them with freelancers. Well, and his own blood, sweat and zombie-tears. After all, based on the show credits, Darabont has already written or co-written every one of The Walking Dead episodes this fall. Which makes you wonder: Will his decision lead other showrunners to take such action?

Gleebasing: 'The Dog Days Are Over'

After overdosing on Sue Sylvester in last week's Carol Burnett-enhanced episode (Sue Sylvester literally married herself in a ceremony officiated by herself while her mother, played by Burnett, watched), Glee scribes carefully put Jane Lynch back into her Adidas-sponsored holding area for this week's episode, "Special Education." But that's OK, because Jayma Mays returned from a three week Anthropologie-sponsored guidance counselor retreat (one can only assume) to stomp all over Schue's heart with John Stamos, who appeared briefly in a montage. Actually, this is not OK at all. Let's review.

Will Dancing with the Stars Top Itself with New Cast Member Lindsay Lohan?

It would take a lot to outdo this season of Dancing with the Stars, which packed all the angst of a glitter-tinged midterm election. But a new report suggests that Lindsay Lohan, the actress whose name is unfortunately almost an anagram of "Linda Lovelace," may be in the running to field screams and whoops from Bruno Tonioli on season twelve of DWTS. Chilling? Kind of. Thrillingly ridiculous? Bien sur!

A-List: New York Recap: My Big Gay Embarrassing Finale

Jesus Christ, it's over. I honestly didn't think this day would come, but now that Reichen, Rodiney, Austin, and furious squirrel Derek have taken their final bows, I'm...totally sad? Crestfallen? Ah, here: Relieved and born anew. That's it. God love these plasticine homos and their Trainspotting-like affection for Botox syringes, but I think eight episodes of their shirtless shenanigans is enough. Still, for the sake of the world's children, I'll give it one hell of a last review. Don your finest PFLAG visor and join me.

The Event Convolution Alert: It's Doubtful 'Everything Will Change'

Sometimes, it's nice for TV to carry a certain level of predictability -- because at least that means it's rooted in some discernible trajectory or consistent characterization or something. Not The Event though! Sure, there are times when, say, you could predict Thomas choking when he pulls a gun on his mother, but that's less a character-based level of predictability, and more a we-can't-kill-Laura Innes'-character level of predictability. The former leaves you nicely pleased with your own cleverness; the latter leaves you in a bloodied heap on your couch.
