Of the hundreds of movies currently in development, few have as much potential as Cogan's Trade. The adaptation of George V. Higgins' (The Friends of Eddie Coyle) pulp crime novel boasts a testosterone-heavy cast that includes Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Sam Rockwell, Ray Liotta and Richard Jenkins, and comes from director Andrew Dominik -- he of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford fame. This is to say, if you aren't excited about Cogan's Trade, you should get excited. And as such, perhaps ignore this first set picture of Pitt in character since he looks like a late '90s version of Nicolas Cage.

As you may have heard, Movieline hero Donald Glover released his latest work as rapper Childish Gambino to the Internet on Tuesday morning -- and the songs are anything but a joke. Sure, the first single (the deliciously rauncy "Freaks and Geeks") contains quite a few comical lyrics, but on the whole, Glover's rap persona is quite serious. To put it another way, consider the EP akin to Donald Glover's Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. And yet! Despite all that melancholia there are pop culture references galore. Loads of them, in fact. Ahead, Movieline offers a comprehensive list of hot topics Glover raps about during the 20 minute EP.

Fairytales are meant to teach lessons -- and the older you get, the more twisted those lessons become. Catherine Hardwicke's Red Riding Hood -- featuring a virginal Amanda Seyfried in that iconic red cloak, enveloped in the crimson of sensuality and blood lust, a young woman inexplicably drawn to the big, bad wolf -- isn't the first film to take the fairytale's latent messaging to darker, and we mean really dark, places.

If you can believe it, Charlie Sheen has only been dripping his tiger blood on Twitter for seven days. As Sheen is happy to point out, his foray into the social networking platform landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records for fastest Twitter user to one million followers. Something that helped with his "record" was that Sheen almost immediately received verification by Twitter, to let fans know that it was really him. Which begs the question: How do celebrities get their accounts verified?

I shouldn't publicize them, but the zealots lobbying for the automatic 'R' rating of movies containing any depiction of tobacco usage are back and crazier than ever. Take their latest missive singling out Rango -- the PG-rated No. 1 film in the country -- for some characters' occasional consumption of cigars and "a cigarette." Noooo! What about the children?

A French trailer for Thor has hit, and I would estimate that it contains about seven seconds of new footage, if that. Of this seven seconds, there are really only two shots worth noting. In order to save you the two minutes you'd have to spend just to see that extra few seconds, I took a screen-captures of each noteworthy shot. For purists, or people who get a laugh out of American super-hero movies dubbed in French, the entire trailer is here too.

If you've seen A&E's Hoarders, you know what a brilliant set-up this is. Beware the lady with the piles of crap and a family of stray cats living underneath stacks of newspaper clippings and Costco boxes!
