6.9 Million People Still Can't Get Enough of The Ten Commandments
Maybe this is the 3-D revival Hollywood should foist on holiday moviegoers: "ABC's traditional Easter-weekend broadcast of The Ten Commandments was the highest-rated program of the night with a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.9 million total viewers." That would make 2012 the fifth year out of the last six that Cecil B. DeMille's epic swan song claimed the top ratings spot the night before Easter. Holy Moses, etc... Eleazar: Why is there lamb's blood around the door,
Uncle Moses?
Moses: It's so Death and Pestilence will pass us by.
Eleazar: Why do we have to eat these bitter herbs and
this lousy flat bread? Why is this night different from
all others? How come...
Moses: Eleazar, why don't you go outside and play???

The Ten Commandments -- YUL LOVE IT!
greates movie ever!!
best movie I have ever seen.
Yul Brynner is pure sex.
It's the best comedy of the 1950s bar none. And watching it in HD for the first time I swear I saw Anne Baxter's nipples through her Edith Head evening gowns.
Cecil B. DeMille was the greatest showman on earth and the man who invented Hollywood. Looking forward to his epic biopic.
