Last Call: Win a Poster For The Ward Signed By Director John Carpenter!
Are you a lifetime John Carpenter fan? Have you been praying at the horror master's altar ever since Dark Star and Assault on Precinct 13? If so, you might want to pay attention. In honor of Carpenter's latest film -- the psych ward-set psychological thriller The Ward -- being released on Blu-ray this week, Movieline is giving away a half dozen one-sheets autographed by the Halloween helmer himself. [UPDATE: Contest is now closed. Check out the reviews after the jump.]
To win, all you have to do is submit a clever 10-word review of any John Carpenter film. It should be imaginative, smart, funny, evocative and, most important, only 10 words. No more, no less. Movieline will pick its six favorite reviews and mail the lucky winners their autographed prizes. (For examples, refer back to our Woody Allen contest in June.)
You can submit your review in one of two places:
· The comments section below.
· On Twitter, using the hashtag #MLgiveaway
The contest has ended. We'll announce the winners after at 5 p.m. EDT/2 p.m. PDT. Good luck to those who entered!

"He's not trick or treating for UNICEF. Michael comes Home."
"The Fog's rolling in, and its ghosts know your sin." (The Fog)
The Ward - This is what Sucker Punch should have been.
The Fog cannot obstruct Barbeau's horrific acting.
This would be a very cool poster to win. I am a big John Capenter fan. That is all. 🙂
