Wedding Breaks Out at Dark Knight Rises Fight Scene

When Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale met the press last week to preemptively thank Pittsburgh for letting The Dark Knight Rises have its run of the Steel City, they could really only anticipate the standard logistical headaches that accompany location filmmaking. You know: Traffic jams, parking shortages, detours, new brides wanting to check out the Batmobile... The usual.

That latter image is among the many featured over the weekend in a very revealing batch of photos from the Dark Knight Rises set. Bale mixes it up with Tom Hardy as the archvillain Bane, who, in a moment of neighborly kindness and/or quintessentially Hardyesque quirk, threw up a wave at bridesmaids crossing the street near Carnegie Mellon University. Not too far away, a pair of newlyweds got to check the Batmobile -- decked out in desert camouflage that wasn't doing much to conceal it against the urban backdrop and sweltering Pittsburgh sun. And the, er, fake snow falling around our hero.
