Ever since Netflix upped its mail-delivery DVD prices to the two-digit level, how are you surviving? Or are you? Sorry, that was presumptuous of me. You've chosen to die young, and I understand. And so does Funny Or Die, which has put together a video about Netflixpricepocalypse. Jason Alexander stars, and he is concerned about whether your viewings of The Wire are in jeopardy.

Yeah, OK, haha. Except you know what? "This is literally the worst thing that has ever happened to white people" is not funny. The #whitepeopleproblems meme is the worst thing about Twitter right now, because it's not only a lame, lazy theme, but it's the smuggest, most pretentious, most alienating mode of humor. You're not smart because you understand that upper-middle class people dwell on dumb problems. And you're not cool because you congratulate yourself for not doing anything about real economic issues. You're especially not cool for announcing that white people rule. Killez-moi.

But anyway, back to Netflix drama: I checked everyone's queues, and we are all scheduled to begrudgingly watch Howards End in April 2015. #EMForsterpocalypse
