· Nine days after the tragic death of war photographer and Restrepo co-director Tim Hetherington, Newsweek's James Wellford received an email from his deceased friend that had apparently been caught in cyberspace. "Hey man, just checking in," Hetherington's email read. "Crazy day today. Full on city fight. It's an incredible story... and hardly anyone here."
