Hugh Jackman Apparently Had Crappy U2 Seats Last Night
"Got 2 see 1 of my favorite bands U2 live last night!!!" tweeted Hugh Jackman this morning. "Awesome finish 2 a great day off in TO." Hell yeah! Except, er, why is he so far away from the stage in his accompanying photograph from Toronto's Rogers Centre? Doesn't Wolverine deserve better?
You Canadian scalpers owe our man an explanation. If you can get Alanis Morrissette in the VIP section, then you can at least get Jackman on the field, no?

I'm guessing he's in a VIP suite to prevent massive fan reaction. Worse ways to see a concert.
Are there worse ways to see a concert? Hundreds of feet away from the stage so he doesn't get recognized by a few people who won't give a shit about anything but the show once it starts? That doesn't sound like much fun.
Actually, those look like fantastic seats. That stage is quite a spectacle, and I think (based on near-stage videos I've seen from the concert I attended) that you miss the impact of it if you're close up. Yes, you can see Bono himself a whole lot better, but it's pretty amazing to see everything that's going on from a distance.
