VIDEO: Jake Gyllenhaal Falls Into a Crevasse on Man Vs. Wild
I can't tell you why symmetrical movie star Jake Gyllenhaal wants to ford the wild with a dude named Bear Grylls, but he's doing it for our entertainment, thankfully. The Oscar-nominated actor trudged with the Man Vs. Wild guru through Icelandic snows for this Monday's season premiere. Will you gasp in horror when Jakey falls into an icy crevasse, or will you gasp in sexual ecstasy?
Fear not, he just stumbles like a toddler into a small gap in the snow. Kind of cute! Oddly, it was not his character but Heath Ledger's who deeply feared "the crevasse" in Brokeback Mountain. Jake was the crevasse expert! He'll pick it up again, I'm sure.
