Shia LaBeouf Promises Transformers: Dark of the Moon Is The 'Greatest 3-D Film Ever Made'
The push to get audiences to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon in glorious 3-D is getting a bit harder. In fact, this one feels more like a shove. Speaking with the Los Angeles Times, star Shia LaBeouf said that Dark of the Moon is the "greatest 3-D film ever made." Oh, is that all?
Ha! Hardly:
"The last hour of this movie is the greatest action sequence of Mike's career, which would put it on the same level as the greatest action ever made," LaBeouf said. "You don't breathe for the last hour. There's just no letup, but it's also not completely overwhelming and disconnected, as the second movie was. You didn't know what was fighting what or where you were geography-wise. There was no way to be able to tell a story, whereas this is very 'Black Hawk Down' action. The geography is very clear. There's only four or five dudes you need to be following. The enemy is very clear. The second movie was so ... complicated. The best movies are simple."
So, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is not only the best 3-D film ever made, but possibly the greatest action movie ever made, too? Consider my ticket purchased. Twice. Oh, what's that? Shia has some other awesomeness about the film to drop on potential ticket buyers?
"The only artificial element is the robots," LaBeouf said. "You're really blowing Chicago up. It's really an invasion."
Classic. Make that three tickets. This is a much better way to sell Dark of the Moon than by touting projector bulb brightness. Just sayin'.

They should really get Shia a job in PR.
Transformers 3 - "There’s only four or five dudes you need to be following."
"The best movies are simple."
Yes, when I think of stripped down, simple films the first directors that come to mind are Kelly Reichardt, the Dardenne brothers, and Michael Bay.
Transformers 3 is the summertime blockbuster to see in kick ass 3D.
HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!
I loved the first Transformers, and the second one was just okay. I hope this one is just as good, if not better, than the first. I don't really care about 3d though. Most people would agree that the best 3d movie so far is Jame's Cameron's Avatar. 😀
And Pinocchio is a true story.
No! nononononononono!
Bleh! I have no desire to see this one at all.
I thought Jaws 3D was pretty good....but Jaws 19 looks like the best 3D film yet, we have to wait until 2015 to see it though...
You can tell a movie is going to be s**tty, when there's waaaay too much hype surrounding it. Didn't Ryan Reynolds claim that Green Lantern was gonna be the next Star Wars, or something like that? How'd that work out for him?
Uhh...did he forget about Piranha 3D?
All in all, I believe the world would be a much better place if a.) Michael Bay had never been introduced to a camera, and b.) Shia LaBeouf would have chosen telemarketing as a career.
