Warren Beatty Mystery Project Actually About Howard Hughes, Monster Cast Circling

warrenbeatty-120.jpgThat surprise Warren Beatty project has finally come into focus: Deadline reports the Hollywood legend will play Howard Hughes in the untitled Paramount film, though it won't be a straight-ahead biopic. Instead, at least part of the script will focus on a relationship Hughes had with a much younger woman when he was older. Beatty will apparently meet who's who of acting talent for roles, among them: Andrew Garfield, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, Shia LaBeouf, Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood and Rooney Mara. Huh. Wonder how Bening got a meeting. [Deadline]

I'm looking forward to the up and coming movies about Mr. Hughes. It will promote interest in him again and may help me to find a photograph that I witnessed being taken of him.
The photograph was taken in March of 1971 in front of the Las Vegas Mint hotel. Hughes was captured with long hair standing with, Levar B. Myler (a senior Penthouse aide) to his left and John H. Meier, (his business adviser who is better known for his involvement in Watergate) on his right. Behind them there was a black Cadillac limo parked at the curb with two more men sitting inside. In the front passenger seat sat John H. Holmes Jr., (another senior Penthouse aide) and a driver who's face I did not see.
