6 Images That Come to Mind When Looking at the Domestic NSFW Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Poster
On Wednesday, Movieline showed you a theatergoer's photo of the U.K. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo poster, but that had foreign writing on it, meaning it is not safe for American audiences. In the now-official poster, we get a better view of Rooney Mara's worried glare and Daniel Craig's scariness. Here are six images it conjured up.
1. Any Victoria Beckham underwear layout.
2. Janet Jackson's infamous Rolling Stone cover.
3. Frightened schnauzers.
4. The most depressing Evanescence album of all.
5. A gritty hybrid of Madonna's "Vogue" and "Erotica" videos. (And of course, Fincher directed "Vogue.")
6. Edie Falco clutching Chris Crocker
What do you think? Is this poster too sexy for a movie about -- among other things -- sexual endangerment?

I think dragon girl bears a striking resemblance to Adam Lambert. But, I'll let you be the judge.

Best father/daughter Christmas card ever.
It'd be interesting if it were from some other movie. This one is NOT about a man protecting a woman from something. She may be fierce with her pierced-nippleness, but she's still clinging onto him like, save me Mr Bond! Stupid for such a strong individual character.
Is it really that simple though? I don't think so. I don't get "Save me, Mr. Bond!" from this at all.
The most kick-ass, powerful female character in pop lit in the past five years -- and THIS is how Hollywood decides to sell her? Well, of course it is. It's Hollywood. They're stupid like that.
she looks like a cenobite from hellraiser yo. for days.
she looks far too tall for the strange, childlike feral child from the books. trailer looks good, though.
