Jennifer Lawrence is Pretty Much Naked in X-Men, and 6 Other Stories You'll Be Talking About Today

Also in this humpday edition of The Broadsheet: Marion Cotillard and Joaquin Phoenix get a Life... Evel Knievel may soon have a biopic... DreamWorks Animation is in Wall St. jeopardy (sort of)... Jackie Chan made his 100th movie... and more...

· The parade of X-Men: First Class flesh continues, this time with a new still featuring a full-on shot of Jennifer Lawrence's heaving blue bosom as Mystique. All that's left is for co-star Zoe Kravitz to get all stripper-iffic on a bar, and... Wait, what? Oh, you've gotta be kidding me. [Comic Book Movie via Gamma Squad]

· This one sounds like a hoot: Writer-director James Gray (We Own the Night, Two Lovers) has enlisted stock player Joaquin Phoenix and the ever-lovely Marion Cotillard for his next film Low Life, about a Polish emigre (Cotillard) blacklisted at Ellis Island and then persuaded by some scumbag (Phoenix) to turn tricks in the city. Jeremy Renner is in talks to co-star. You'll have to wait a while, though, for this one; everyone's booked though 2011. I'd predict a Toronto 2012 debut -- we'll see. [Deadline]

· Stuntman-tuned-director Ric Roman Waugh is negotiating to direct a biopic of the late, legendary motorcycling daredevil Evel Knievel. The film would be based on Leigh Montville's Knievel biography published in April; casting suggestions welcome below. Daniel Craig just popped into mind, for better or worse. [THR]

· Apparently, after Kung Fu Panda 2 didn't blow the doors off the U.S. multiplex (despite setting an opening-day record in China), Wall Street is panicking about a downturn of fortune at DreamWorks Animation. Like, as David Poland points out, averaging $500 million in grosses per movie is worthy of panic. Madness! [THR]

· "There seems to be a cry for me to review SUPER 8 through sheer critical analysis. To discuss the many elements separately and with a cold logical mind skewering what ever [sic] morsels there are to skew." God, I love Harry Knowles. [AICN]

· Who's the most overrated player in Major League Baseball? The players themselves have spoken (anonymously, but still). [NYDN]

· Here's the teaser for Jackie Chan's 100th film. Congrats, Jackie! Maybe he can play Evel Knievel [via Movie City Indie]:
