    Needs more decolletage.

    Why so serious?

  • The Winchester says:

So, it's an hour and a half of awkward racism and puberty metaphors, followed by a half hour of X-Men stopping the Cuban missile Crisis?

very impressive trailer. i really hope the movie itself can deliver. yea, it comes across as kinda heavy (almost like Drama, really) but, honestly, what's wrong with that?
heaven forbid should we get a superhero movie that actually appears (at least on the surface) to give us something different.
with a stellar cast and someone of Vaughn's talent at the helm, im very excited to see this movie.

  • The Winchester says:

My concern isn't that it's too dramatic, or trying to delve into heavy themes.
My concern is that they've shown everything in the trailer, and the movie going experience is just a two hour version of everything we just saw.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but Fox generally disappoints in these matters.
That being said, it looks light years better than Wolverine.

"I'd love to be proven wrong..."
well... (shrugging) then allow yourself, oh mighty Nostradamus, to be proven wrong, lol. it's just one trailer.
i totally agree on the 'suck factor' that is Fox concerning superhero movies (hi there, Fantastic Four/Wolverine/X3) but look at some of the people involved in this movie: Matthew Vaughn, James McAvoy, Rose Byrne, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Jason Flemyng & Oliver Platt... if that's not enough to allow for at least a modicum of, dare i say, faith then you might as well be dead inside, right? (...or possibly from New Jersey)
take my hand, brother... let us pray for free screening passes from Movieline.

Really hope this makes up for X3. And still loving that jet. Total rip-off of the SR-71 Blackbird (which is the ultimate in cool jets), but still. I guess that's why I like it so much. 🙂
    Can't wait for this movie.
