Malin Akerman Using Google to Prepare for Inferno Role

While the will-she-won't-she-will-she merry-go-round of news surrounding Lindsay Lohan's involvement in Gotti: Three Generations continues, there is one project the embattled starlet is definitely not participating in any longer: Inferno, the Matthew Wilder-directed film about the troubled life of porn star Linda Lovelace. Lohan was set to play Lovelace, but has since been replaced by Malin Akerman -- who has apparently found that the Internet is her best friend while researching the life of a famous porn star.

"I've been studying a lot about battered women and we all have that big question mark as to why they stay in the relationship and why they don't leave and it's so complex," Akerman told E! Online on Thursday night. "I've been reading a lot on the internet... Google is a fantastic thing."

It sure is, Malin! Except when Gmail doesn't work -- which is often. Now let me go complain about other free things like sunshine and Starbucks Wi-Fi.
