Stoner movies are woefully misunderstood. Watching Seth Rogen et al inhale incorrectly and so on, does not a stoner movie make.
Stoner movies are fertilized by either great comedy or great imagination. For me, recently, a great classic stoner movie is...Alphaville. Futuristic, retro, extremely imaginative, quirky and philisophical - enjoy it seen through a mystic haze.

There's a great difference between stoner movies and movies that are great to watch while high. I don't really care to watch the Apatow gang or Jay and Silent Bob get high while I'm high, because it's not that entertaining.
However, pack a bowl and pop in Aeon Flux, Fantastic Planet, Showdown in Little Tokyo, or The Mummy (the Brendan Fraser one) and I'm sold.
Bonus points: Watching The Mummy and listening to the Fraser commentary, where I'm pretty sure he IS as high as I am.
