Friday Box Office: Rio Feathers Its Nest At Number One, Scre4m Is Number 2wo

The birds of paradise enjoyed a view from the top as Rio debuted Friday night at number one, leaving the teens of Scream 4 in second place. Elsewhere in the top five, the pattern repeated, with horror movie Insidious staying strong in third place and the chatty animated animals of Hop in fourth. Your Friday box office is here.

    No offense, Dixon, but the pattern did NOT repeat. Otherwise, "Hop" would have bested "Insidious". Instead, the pattern reversed.

    I just meant more the general pattern of talking animal movie & horror movie, but yes, if you want to be fussy about it, the order reversed itself.

    2. I am extremely glad for all of your posts. I was a subscriber back when Movieline was a magazine, and I've been following the website for years. I was ecstatic when they finally chose a writer to post during the weekend, and while I may not agree with all of your posts, I love that you're writing them.
