Mickey Rourke Sorry for Hilarious Insults of Passion Play, Megan Fox
Sometimes honesty isn't the best policy -- at least when it comes to filmmaking. Earlier this week, Passion Play star Mickey Rourke made news when he slagged the already-maligned film, calling it "terrible" and saying that Play wasn't getting a major release because "it's not very good." About that...
In an exclusive statement to Vulture published on Friday, Rourke apologized for his harsh comments.
"Hey, guys. When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a shitty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter. Mitch is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow. I don't know why I said that stupid shit. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad."
For what it's worth, the Oscar winner nominee has yet to walk back from his statements about 13, with co-star 50 Cent. "[I]t's so bad it can't get out."
