"Pittsburgh is a beautiful city," Nolan said in a statement. "We have been able to find everything we were looking for here, and I am excited to spend the summer in Pittsburgh with our final installment of Batman." Doesn't the whole thing have a whiff of hipsterness about it? Chicago is so over now that stupid Michael Bay has shot there. Nolan was shooting in Chicago before Michael Bay pooped out his last script. Pittsburgh is a pretty obscure place to shoot, and Nolan wanted to shoot in Pittsburgh before it was cool, alright??
