A new trailer for JJ Abrams' Super 8 has been making the rounds on television, and while it mostly underscores the creepy ET vibe of the earlier Super Bowl spot, it also deepens the mystery of exactly what was in that Air Force transport train and why people keep disappearing. Take a look below!

According to Filmstage, that oddly-scarred black man is actually, the kids' biology teacher Mr. Woodward. It was Mr. Woodward who was driving the truck that smashed into the train and who seems to be enmeshed in the conspiracy of whatever Area 51 was transporting and has now lost. How a small town biology teacher has gotten wrapped up in governmental cover-ups beats me, but the trailer has done nothing but whet my appetite for more.
