James Franco Didn't Delete His Twitter Account, He Just Locked It
The social networking world went cold on Friday morning when it was revealed that James Franco had apparently deleted his Twitter account. Turns out, he just didn't want all that attention. "My thought was, 'This is my Twitter. I can do whatever I want,'" Franco told Politico. "But certain companies I work with contacted me about what I was saying." As a result, he made the account private -- not that it matters. "Social media is over," said Franco. Noted. [Politico via Vulture]

Why is Franco giving an interview to Politico?
