'Huge' Chloe Moretz Project Appropriately Huge

chloemoretz_300.jpgLast weekend, Chloe Moretz regaled MTV about her next big project. "You're gonna die when you find out," she said. "It's huge! You're going to be freaking out, cause I was. I left my iPad on a plane, I was so freaked out. [...] It's big, and it's crazy, and it involves some really cool actors." If you think Johnny Depp, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter and Michelle Pfeiffer are "really cool," then begin freaking out.

Moretz has reportedly signed on to co-star opposite that roster of talent in Tim Burton's adaptation of Dark Shadows. The film -- which is based the '60s television series of the same name about vampires -- will find the young star playing Carolyn, "the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Pfeiffer), the reclusive matriarch of the Collins clan and owner of the Collinwood mansion where the supernatural saga unfolds." Exciting! Here's hoping her salary is big enough to cover a new iPad.

    For the first half of the article, I thought they were making a movie about Chloe Moretz losing her iPad. Then I was like, "Wait, who's Chloe Moretz? Little girl from (500) Days of Summer?" Then I was like, "You're old dude. Old." Blerg.

  • 2+2=4 says:

    Shit, the girl is only 14 years old but on some pictures she looks into her twenties. This is not going to end well.

  • j'accuse! says:

    So you're her rival from the Oakwood days who never quite made it, right?

  • 2+2=4 says:

    Have no idea what are you talking about, but I'ma dude and have no intentions to be her rival. Nice joke though, although I can't understand it.

  • Dimo says:

    The Oakwood is an apartment complex in Burbank where most child actors stay while auditioning for parts. And now you know.

    Bada bing! Dimo is my new favorite interwebs person.

  • huh says:

    2=2=4 has a point though.

  • JR says:

    I wouldn't say twenties. Seventeen, maybe. Although why that's cause for concern I don't know.
