First Look: Johnny Depp's Top-Secret Role in Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabret

For the past few months, it was assumed that Johnny Depp would be working strictly behind the camera on Martin Scorsese's 3-D adaptation of Brian Selznick's bestseller, The Invention of Hugo Cabret -- a heart-warming tale of an orphan living inside a Parisian train station. Wrong assumption! Le Parisien snapped a pic of the producer in costume, meaning it looks like Cabret will have at least some Depp. Take a look at the first image of the superstar as M. Rouleau alongside stars Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield ahead.

Scorsese's first 3-D film will also feature Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jude Law and Emily Mortimer.
