    HBO blocked Amanda Seyfried from Sucker Punch and Joe Manganiello from being Superman. I don't see HBO letting Michael Shannon do this, unless it is a very small role.

    Michael Shannon as a Superman villain isn't half as weird as MOLLY Shannon as a Superman villain (which what I initially thought this headline said).
