Dorothy of Oz vs. The Big Bang: Which Film Has the More Random Cast?
On Wednesday, Movieline HQ was simply flabbergasted by the 52 pickup-like cast of The Big Bang, which stars a random assortment of actors from Snoop Dogg to Antonio Banderas to Sam Elliott. Well, the first poster for the 2012 animated film Dorothy of Oz has arrived, and it shows The Big Bang what randomness truly means. Isn't that right, Jim Belushi?
Picking up where The Wizard of Oz left off, Dorothy features the vocal talents of Glee sensation Lea Michele as the titular ingenue, the aforementioned Belushi, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Dan Aykroyd, Hugh Dancy, Oliver Platt, Megan Hilty and Martin Short. Random! So random that even The Setup cast of Bruce Willis, 50 Cent and Ryan Phillippe are giggling right now. So random that Martin Mull, Pia Zadora and Luke Perry were probably considered for roles. So random that Snoop Dogg might be hired before it goes to theaters. So random that -- you get it. (Joke killed.)

I dont understand whats wrong witht his cast at all
It's an animated movie, what'd you expect?
Sounds like Hollywood's best voice talent, not to mention best singing talent w/ Lea Michele. Should blow, "Tangled" and "Rio" out of the jungle and off the beach, respectively.
The story and history of OZ alone is Priceless...so with adding a voice and talent like Lea Michele and the big Stars names like Short, Aykrod, Stewart, Platt and Belushi where can there be any question. In "Rio" you have Jamie Fox singing...if you can call it signing and that movie is blowing it out of the water. Dorthy of Oz I see as a big success next year.
