Jennifer Lawrence Will Reportedly Play Katniss in The Hunger Games
It looks like for once, a casting rumor may be true. According to "an individual with knowledge of the deal," Gary Ross and the producers decided that Oscar-nominated Jennifer Lawrence had the right combination of strength and emaciation to play Katniss in the upcoming Hunger Games film, and her deal to star in the film is now confirmed per The Wrap. A lot of haters are saying she's too old or she's not physically fit for the part. She's 4 years older, that's not tooooooo old. And besides, it's Hollywood, where everything can be altered. But I think they chose her because her acting is amazing and she has a maturity and self-knowledge to her that speaks KATNISS!
