Like Gwyneth Paltrow, Tina Fey believes people are overly mean to Gwyneth Paltrow. "Any time you talk about being a working mother and you complain about it in any way, people eat your face," Fey tells InStyle. "I remember reading some interview where Gwyneth Paltrow said something like, 'I missed my kids on the set one day and I was crying.' And I thought, Yeah, I've totally done that." Yeah, people are mean to Gwyneth on the internet because she's a working mother and not because she's an insufferable elitist who is completely out of touch with reality.
Tina's not wrong about working moms. Whether she's wrong about Gwyneth or not, I wouldn't know. But she's got a point.
I don't think people were really upset about those particular comments by Paltrow but rather other comments she has made that were really out of touch with the average working mother.
