Gay Twilight Parody Features Acting That's Only Marginally Worse Than Actual Twilight
You've seen them in the video store and lurking around the corner of your Netflix queue. Familarly-named movies that seem to be design to cash in on a better known entity. But at this point, the direct-to-video cash-in is a time-honored tradition: for every Transformers, there's a Transmorphers, for every Paranormal Activity, there's a Paranormal Entity. And now we've got a two-fer: a gay themed Twilight-esque thriller called Vampire Boys. The acting is a bit...ripe but honestly, is it that much worse than the real Twilight?
It follows the general Twilight frame: doe-eyed innocent moves to a new town and falls under the seductive spell of a mysterious lothario who travels with his equally mysterious cabal of beautiful, pale weirdos. And as a bonus, absolutely no schmoopy mooning from Kristen Stewart!

Wow that looks epically awful...can't wait to see it!
One of the vampires is wearing an effing cross!
That is one chunky vampire.
OK, as someone that just finished watching the first season of Vampire Diaries, I have a few questions.
1. Why is the trailer drenched in sunlight? There's nothing foreboding or sexy about it at all.
2. How often does the main vampire have to bleach his hair? Who told him that was even remotely attractive?
3. If you're going to devote so many shots to men with their shirts off, shouldn't you find men that actually look good with their shirts off?
4. The idea of actually watching any of the Twilight movies isn't going to happen. Yet I would be more likely to watch that then this. Seriously, this looks excruciatingly bad.
Read the article headline again. Can you say p-a-r-o-d-y - not to be taken seriously.
