Tourette's, Anorexia, OCD and 'Soul Sister' Collide in Harrowing New Trailer
You don't need to speak German to get the gist of Vincent Wants to Sea [sic], an odd-trio-psych-disorder-romcom-road movie that finally brings together some of the most nefarious scourges of neurology, psychology and pop music in one jaw-dropping trailer.
Commencing with the ukelele strains of Train's ear-plundering radio smash "Soul Sister," the preview sets up the tale of an institutionalized Tourette syndrome sufferer and his quirky friends -- the anorexic cutie, the OCD roommate -- who run away after stealing their doctor's car. And with that... I've said too much. The film premiered last month at the Berlin Film Festival, where it was no no doubt washed away by the torrent of acclaim and astonishment greeting fest contemporary Porno Melodrama. That'll happen.
VERDICT: Train, people. Train.
