5 Overlooked Ennio Morricone Songs to Turn into Ringtones
"Beat Number 3" from Teorema
Regarding this fantastic Pier Paolo Pasolini film, Roger Ebert wrote: "My guess is that Teorema is a watershed of some kind, a film out of its own time, a film nothing has prepared us for, but a film that in years to come will be seen as a turning point like early Godard." I suspect this song could be the same thing, except for cell phone ringtones.
"Theme Song" from Frantic
The theme song to Roman Polanski's 1988 thriller with Harrison Ford one gets better and better as it goes along, so maybe it's only for people who enjoy letting their voicemail pick up.
"Striptease" from Machine Gun McCaine
If a cell phone goes off at a crucial moment during a date, it can completely ruin the mood. But no more! With this little number, you'll be praying for a friend to call once your date invites you inside.

How can you leave off Magic and Ecstasy from Exorcist 2: The Heretic?
It's the only song I will tolerate ruining a movie with because you were too stupid to not pay attention to the 20 things before the movie asking you to turn off your phone.
Oh, gosh, I've got to add "Magic and Ecstasy" from Exorcist II. It's Morricone at his most rocking. So good it was covered by the Residents and Snakefinger.
I was going for overlooked ones, not what is universally acknowledged as the best Morricone work of all time.
No, it's actually a really good call, I've watched the trailer many many times because it's probably the best use of music in any trailer, ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFspymGVZLY
But they're including the 1994 Love Affair, so I thought there was actually a pretty good chance that an Excorcist 2 cut would make it...We shall see.

I always choose ringtones that are based on classical melodies. .
