Is Joseph Fiennes Slamming Glee in This Starz Camelot Promo?
Slow news day, but seriously: Is Joseph Fiennes, the star of Starz's ten-part Camelot series, mocking Glee when he talks about the reasons you should watch him play Merlin?
Fiennes's key soundbite occurs at about the :20 mark.
Now, a statement like "I think people should watch this because... it's not a musical" could just mean he wants to differentiate this action series from the same-named Lerner & Loewe musical. But the way in which Fiennes stares at the camera, emits post-FlashForward malaise, and seems a little weary of the word "musical" could suggest some contempt with Ryan Murphy and his bippity-boppity schoolchildren. I'll take this hazy hint of a slam and run with it! Glee is lame! Don't like it! Weee. Jive.
But wait, a better question for Camelot aficionados: Hottest Merlin ever? I think so.

i agree with erin, collin morgon is the hottest merlin but i like joseph fiennes, hes a good actor. howvere the guy that plays arthur, i do not like (bradley james is better)
He's not dissing Glee. You're seeing things that aren't there.
I love it. I love everything about it. I love HIM. I love everything about him.
Whether he's dissing Glee or not(fingers crossed he is) I think Fiennes is fenomenal.(Supposed to be a combination of Fiennes & phenomenal.Fail)
Though his portrayal of Shakespeare was oscar-worthy. Didn't think Gwenyth was anything special.
