VIDEO: James Franco's Grandmother Has Message for 127 Hours Avoiders
When Movieline spoke to 127 Hours star Amber Tamblyn, she wasn't very thrilled to hear that there were some afraid to sit through the Danny Boyle film because of the infamous amputation scene. "I feel bad for people who aren't going to see the movie just because they hear that and think that it's going to be horrible," she said. James Franco's grandmother feels bad for those people, too. Except for the feeling bad part.
In a new video for Funny or Die, the Oscar co-host uses his real-life grandmother -- decked out in an adorable Santa hat and "I Kept My Eyes Open for 127 Hours t-shirt -- to get across that only the weak-willed should have a problem with the film. No spoilers here -- you'll have to watch the 90 second clip; gasp! -- but suffice it to say, the p-word is tossed around fairly aggressively.
