· Still reeling from the Democrats' defeat during the mid-term elections, outgoing House speaker Nancy Pelosi is apparently making a huge effort to rebrand the party and has reached out to Steven Spielberg to help with the job. A more effective rebranding strategy for the party might be to actually pass significant policy, but I digress. Spielberg, who has worked with the party in the past, has not committed yet. If he accepts, maybe he can tailor that upcoming Abraham Lincoln movie to this end? [WP ]

· Despite speculation, conjecture and furious Broadway stars, a spokesman for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has promised that the show will go on, starting tonight.
