With 2010 rapidly coming to a close, their impressive wit, intellect, resourcefulness, brute strength and emotional endurance deserve to be recognized! In our continued holiday-list making spirit, Movieline recalls its favorite women to kick ass at the multiplex in 2010. Those are some weird choices.Hit Girl is a psychologically damaged girl who kills people, Nina was a woman who was so far under her mother's thumb and so obsessed with ballet that she went crazy and Easy A was built around Olive being a liar and becoming a pseudo prostitute.Like the list says, Helen Mirren was a pimp.There's got to be some better females out there in 2010.
What about Black Widow?She had a small part, but she was a hero and she literally kicked ass.
I didn't think it was a bad list.
I think the list is just supposed to be about interesting female characters not necessarily morally admirable or heroic characters.
