Scoop! Avatar's Joel David Moore Storms Hawaii Five-0
Joel David Moore, who has played science nerds on screens both big (Avatar) and small (Bones), next will get his geek on for CBS' Hawaii Five-0, Movieline has learned exclusively.
In the freshman action-drama's 15th episode, Moore will guest-star as the deputy director of a tsunami tracking office based out of Honolulu. As some whopper waves threaten to deluge the islands -- and with his boss mysteriously gone missing -- Moore's character proves very important to McGarrett & Co. during a crisis.
In addition to his roles as Avatar's Norm Spellman and Bones squintern Colin Fisher, Moore has enjoyed a multi-episode run on Medium and very recently played a criminal hacker on Chuck.
Hawaii Five-0 airs Mondays at 10/9c on CBS.

@Faxon, what a racist comment, you embarass Hawaiians. I don't even know where to begin on how little aloha you have just shown. Just be happy for the guy.
Joel rocks. I've grown up near his family and I'm glad to see him make his way in the business.
