So, Who Will Win Dancing with the Stars Tonight?

I'll give co-host Brooke Burke credit for one thing: She was right to proclaim this season of Dancing with the Stars the most controversial yet on last night's show. Going into tonight's harrowing finale, Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey, and Bristol Palin have ample reason to be both optimistic and really worried. But who's going to come out on top? We weigh the pros and cons for each remaining competitor and pick your eventual Dancing with the Stars champion. Click through for some knowledge.

Bristol Palin

For Her: Bristol's fanbase is more invigorated, hostile, and proactive than ever now that she's in the finals. Furthermore, the scores accrued by Grey and Massey only bested hers by a few points; that clearly isn't enough to prevent a come-from-behind victory.

Against Her: The word is out that you have to vote in order to propel your choice dancer to a win. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews have stressed it, and even Brooke Burke seemed intent on selling DWTS's democracy last night. As such, Bristol may not be the only one with vehement backers now.

Kyle Massey

For Him: He's never been the best dancer in the competition, but the consensus is that Kyle's given Dancing with the Stars the most spirited effort. Just when he needed the final underdog push to qualify as a winner, he nailed his redemptive foxtrot and floored the room with his freestyle. He's got a certain Donny Osmond panache -- and you'll recall that Donny's everyman ebullience helped him sail past Mya to win season nine.

Against Him: With Bristol's hypnotized voting squad and Jennifer's ballroom perfection splitting the vote, it's possible Kyle is slightly deficient in the two arenas it matters. Mind you, his sympathetic character could more than make up the difference.

Jennifer Grey

For Her: She's unironically fun to watch. I could watch all of Jennifer Grey's routines on repeat and never suffer a pang of embarrassment. I can't say the same about either of her competitors, and that means Jennifer's got the one skill that should matter -- the skill of skill. Plus, the two perfect tens from last night can't hurt, right?

Against Her: Erin Andrews is right when she says that Jennifer Grey is the Nicole Scherzinger of this year's competition: She's primed, poised, and undeniably the finest dancer in the game. Problem is, Nicole Scherzinger already won Dancing with the Stars, and it wasn't a thrilling victory for many viewers. This has been the season where voters have reclaimed their sway in the elimination system, and a third-place finish for Jennifer is simply an expected (though unjust) result.

I'M HOPING THAT TONIGHT'S EPISODE OF DANCING WITH THE STARS WON'T BE A POLITICAL BRU-HA-HA. WE ALL KNOW THAT JENNIFER GREY SHOULD WIN AND IF NOT, KYLE MASSEY SHOULD WIN. BUT IF BRISTOL WINS, IT COULD EASILY BE THE END OF DWTS. ALL CREDIBILITY ABOUT THE SHOW WILL BE GONE FOREVER. ALL THE RATIONALIZATIONS IN THE WORLD WON'T PAVE A CLEAR ROAD. RUMOR HAS IT THAT SOME MAN VOTED 300 TIMES FOR BRISTOL, WHEN EACH PERSON ONLY HAD 5 VOTES. I TRIED VOTING FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENT AND COULDN'T GET THROUGH. WE HOPE THAT JENNIFER WINS. IF BRISTOL WINS, THIS WILL BE THE FINAL YEAR OF HIGH RATINGS FOR DWYS.

Shame on ABC. They did not correct the problem.
I checked myself. Yes, I couldn't get thrugh after the show.
But this morning, when system wasn't busy, I gave about 50 votes to
Jennifer and about 50 votes to Kyle under different e-mail addresses
I did this just to check the stupidity and unfearness of ABC network.
Poor Brandy. She should be in competition, not Bristol.

I THINK BRISTOL PALIN SHOULD WIN!! --SHE HAS NEVER HAD ANY KIND OF DANCING OR ACTING --AND SHE DONE VERY GOOD!! THE OTHER'S HAVE !! PEOPLE ACCUSE THAT REPUBLICATIO'S AND TEA PARTY --CONSPIRACY -BULL CRAP !! THE DANCING OF THE STAR" ARE THE ONES THAT MADE THE RULES !!! AND ONE COULD ONLY VOTE 5 TIMES ON EACH PHONE PLUS ONLY FOR APPROX 1/2 OR 1 HOUR! --THAT IS NOT PEOPLE VOTING ALL 24 HOUR'S -!!! REMARKS OF-PEOPLE ARE STUPIED!! --PEOPLE HAVE VOTED HER BECAUSE MANY LOVE THE PALIN FAMILY!! THEY ALL ARE NOT PHONEY!! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS--YOU BUNCH OF FOOLS--JENNIFER HAS IS WAS A DANCER!! AND HER DAD IS JOEL GREY THE DANCER SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AROUND DANCING PLUS PLAY ON PATRICK SWAZEE WITH HER TEARS AND BRINGING HIM UP--AND KYLE MASSEY-acting job was in "The Wizard of Oz," but his big break came after he was cast in the popular Disney sitcom "That's So Raven" (2003), BRISTOL CAME IN RAW --- SO I THINK BRISTOL PALIN REALLY DESERVES THE TROPHY!!!! THEY ALL DID GREAT AND WE ALL LOVE THIS BUNCH!!!

Mike must have made a typo and added a 0 next to the 5 vote rule stated on the show and confirmed by Louie above. If Mike really did100 call in votes to DWTS this AM - we can all agree there Mike needs to get a life

  • Lisa says:

Hi, I would like to say that Jenner has always been a performer and has had dancing experience, DWTS should pick a dancer with NO experience that has started at the bottom and is now at the top like KYLE, that is what the show is SUPPOSE to be about!!!!!!

  • anonymous says:

Bristol Palin should not even be on this show. She is not a star. Her claim to fame is being the daughter of somebody who ran for vice president. How does that qualify as a star?

  • shelia duff says:

If the Tea Party can pull this off it will show all of us to be sure and vote in all elections. If Palin wins the show will lose many viewers. She can't dance at all.
If she wins they have shoved it up Americas nose. What a mess. They show will never survive this mess they have created.

  • Ken says:

I watched most of the shows and thought ALL of dancers performed beautifully. But, during the finals last night, with absolutely no experience other than 200 hours of lessons at an Arthur Murry Studio, I concluded Jennifer Grey was the most graceful dancer. I reviewed the requirements on how to appear on Dancing with the Stars and there is NO requirement that the person has to be an amateur so the notion they must start from the is rubbish. Further, that Bristol Palin should take the top spot based on her popularity is nonsense. In my opinion, all three dance couples made it to the top which is an accomplishment in an of itself. Someone has to be number one. From what one poster to this forum stated, it appears one group was organized to vote for Palin whether she was number one or not. That ruins many events and television programs. People are not stupid. As one poster commented, I too believe that had Palin won, it would be the end of the and it certainly would be the last time I watched because, while she was good, she wasn't the best and scoring shouldn't be based on amateurism or popularity - it should be based on their dancing ability and how well they performed when it counted. Jennifer did just that.

  • Mark says:

Bristol Palin is of no talent, others said. How come it happened? For me, their just judgemental. Let others exceed what they can and do your own business to.
